Two guys, a girl, and a bag.

Tuesday January the 29th. Zachary, Jonathan, and Reyna went on a field trip with their good friend Bag.

Whoops, no parking!

Bad Bag, get outta there!

Bag doesn't J-walk.

Noo. Silly Bag. You're not for rent.

Damnit, Bag! We already told you! NO PARKING!

Don't go the wrong way, Bag.

Oh wow, Bag went to East LA.

Where'd Bag go? =[

Untitled [due to a lack of creativity, originality, and inspiration]

So I was watching this:

and i was like
haha, i already knew the first two or three facts.
the whole thing was a trip
then i'm like
ehhh fuck it.
it is what it is.
nothing i can do to change the US as we know it
=P
sometimes i wish i cared about stuff going on in the world, tho
i mean, i do care
but i wish i cared enough to do something about it
i wish i wasn't so caught up in myself and bitching about what a louse i am, y'know?
then i'd be more motivated to do good in the future. 'cause i'd have a goal n shit.

Don't be offended...

People have to stop swearing i mean everything i say.

ok, maybe i do.
maybe i don't.

they just have to stop getting pan hurt.

i'm not a bitch.
i just bring up taboo subjects. =D
or make taboo comments, whatever.

people that know me... know not to get all hurt about the shit i say about them.
they know i don't say it to be a bitch.
that's just the way i am.

i guess i'm a horrible friend.
whatever.

this was originally a bulletin aimed at one person.
i decided to blog it 'cause i wanna keep this.
but i know i've made others get all pan hurt without meaning to
only because i said something that was on my mind.

i'm not sorry. i'm just like that.

i guess this is just a heads up for you if you're gonna start talking to me or hanging out with me.

OK

[if i talk to you on a regular basis, we've probably had this conversation before]

You know what's wack?
The use of the word (or term... or acronym... whatever the hell it is) okay. I dunno. I just feel that when people use it, they don't care much about what I'm telling them. Like, they just wanna avoid having a conversation and play it off by saying "k" or "ok" or "okay" and whatever other version of it there is. The only reason I say that is because I know I use it when I don't really care.

I mean, it's okay [haha...] to use it when it's not in the context of someone telling you something that happened to them or something about themselves or when they're talking about something they like/dislike or just something random. I mean, imagine people used it a lot like that...

I dunno... in my view
OK / k / okay
=
I don't give a fuck.
I don't care.
Whatever [even worse when they say w/e instead of whatever...].

Times you shouldn't say it.

Person 1: You don't know how fucked up I feel right now...
Person 2: Ok

Person 1: I'm pregnant... =/
Person 2: k

Person 1: I was diagnosed with cervical cancer.. ='[.
Person 2: okay

Person 1: Omg! I love you! <333 I can't wait to get married! I'm so glad we're engaged!
Person 2: O. K.

The right time to use it:

Me: It is okay to use the word okay like this.

Person 1: I don't have any money >_<
Person 2: It's okay. I'll spot you. =]

Person 1: So, you wanna go out tomorrow?
Person 2: Okay. =D

Open Source

I'm not a millionare. I can't afford fancy computer programs. I don't wanna risk getting a virus when trying to download a crack or keygen for one.

There are some great computer programs out there made by big corporations that are commonly used. Microsoft has Word, PowerPoint and all that jazz. Adobe has their awesome Photoshop, Imageready, Illustrator, GoLive, and a shitload more that I love using.

The problem for users like me is... we can't afford them! This is why I decided to post a blog about it [not that many people read my blogs anyway...]. More people need to know about Open Source alternatives for those popular graphic/text/whatever editor programs.

I don't think I've ever had a registered copy of Microsoft Office on my computer since I've had one. I know others that don't as well. What do I use? OpenOffice. It's just as good and definitely gets the job(s) done. It comes with something similar to Microsoft Word, Exel, and whatever else Microsoft offers.

I've used and been in love with Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady since middle school. Unfortunately, I had to reformat my computer recently and lost all my .exe's. Thus, I downloaded The GIMP. Actually, I donwloaded GIMPshop, which is pretty much the same thing but the vocabulary changes for those who are more familiar with Adobe products. It's great. I like it.

School stuff

First period. Drafting with Mr. Laines. Pretty damn boring. I keep being later/absent to the class.

Second period. Honors Chemistry with Ms. Xavier. She's nice. But ugh, I'm getting a C in the class. I never liked Chemistry much...

Third period. They switched all the Humanitas kids out of Montes' class and back into Rocha's. Grr. A lot of us were pretty damn angry about it. I don't like Rocha. He's so fake and has some superiority complex, I swear. But yeah... He's just another typical Gardocki/Buchman style teacher. Y'know. The type that make you read something, and then answer questions or wrote about it. I always sucked at that stuff. What I liked about Montes was that he took a whole different approach to teaching, AND I got good scores on his assignments. He got kinda preachy about the whole oppression thing, but I didn't mind.

Fourth period. Bennet. AP Government. Ehh.

Fifth period. AP European history with Woessner. Yep. No band for 5th. Muahahaha.

Sixth period. Marching Dynamics. I only enrolled so I can get the PE credit I need to graduate =P.

Seventh period, I guess. Band practice. 4-8 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

DCI, Brick, Band, School.

I haven't updated this in forever... Let's divide this into sections.

DCI World Championships
Unfortunately I didn't get to go on finals night. That really sucks because for the next 10 years, finals are gonna be in Indianapolis =/. I could've gotten a ticket too! Jasmine wasn't able to go and was gonna give me hers. I spent the day at my tia Rosa's with my family instead. Grr.
I did go to Quarterfinals, though. It was fun. I loved most of the shows. One of the corps played Imogen Heap. I forgot who, though... Like always, SCV's cymbal line fucking owned =D. I pretty much liked all the shows. Carolina Crown's was hilarious. Horses and William Tell Overture are like rofl. and Blue Devils <33!

I didn't have any money, so I couldn't get a t-shirt or anything :'[. I wanted a shirt really fucking badly. Ughh. But I did get free posters and stickers and stuff, haha.

We (zack, brittney, sope and i) left on Mr. Gray's car and he took us to King Taco. We had a chat about bums, random moments, and marching band. It was pretty tight. And the quesadilla thing I had a was pretty damn good. =P

Brick
So, I had left my stuff in the band room after band leadership interviews and went to Snack Stop to get stuff for Danny and Monkey. I ran across Gilbert on my way there and told him to go back with me, since he had nothing to do anyway. So we went back, gave Monkey and Danny their stuff, whatever. The drumline had late rehearsal that day. Band didn't, so the band room was empty because they were all practicing outside. Somehow... [THE REST OF THIS SECTION WAS OMITTED BY REINIX DUE TO... HER OWN STUPIDITY].

Marching Band
Gray hasn't announced it to the band, but he told us who the student leadership is (as though he hadn't made it obvious from the start...). Brittney's the drum major and Tiffany is assistant DM. I don't like that term... assistant. Makes it sound as if Tiff is Britt's bitch. If anything, it should be the other way around. Stupid faker bitch... Whatever. The Lance Majors are Tiffany, Zack and I (formerly known as captains). Josh and Manzo are the Horn Sergeants. They basically make sure everything in rehearsal goes by quickly and smoothly. IMO, they've been doing more on the field than the DM. Gilbert and Manzo are the Field Captains. They make sure the field is nicely done and set for our rehearsal. The prest of the leadership pretty much does that too, though. We have to get to camps an hour early to paint the yard lines and all that good stuff. The Technical Captains are Jocelyn and Alyssa. I'm still not sure what they do... stupid gray. Band leadership is fun, though. We're like our own section and stuff. Except none of us like to include Brittney most of the time =/. And for band camp, we all get to wear orange t-shirts. =D

The newbs are doing alright. There are a few that stick out, and you can tell they weren't there when we worked on basics and stuff. I've been working with the clarinets and they'be been improving a lot. I'm kinda proud of them. =] The flutes are pretty down too. I dunno about Jeniffer, but yeah. Let's hope she can hang. I don't want another hole on the field. ugh, the altos are lagging it >_<. But they're trying, so it's okay. Sometimes they get yelled at and stuff, but they have this drive that makes them want to get better and stay. That's really good. =]. I think the brass is doing all right for the most part. I haven't been observing them much.

School
I start school this Wednesday. What a bummer. I like not having a first period... Or a second period, for that matter. Most of my schedule is on track C. 1-3 are track A, and the rest is track C. I've been going to Mr. Bennett's AP government class, so i'm pretty much staying in that. I went to see my counselor and this is what my schedule's gonna be:
1. Drafting [i never took a tech art class =/]
2. Honors Chemistry [i failed first semester sophmore year...]
3. Advanced Comp. with Montes
4. AP Government and Politics with Bennett.
5. Band
6. Band
7. Band

So yeah, I have a feeling I'm gonna be missing first period a LOT. haha. I most likely wont know anyone in it... Or my second period. grr. Chemistry and drafting are sooo boring. I'm not gonna be a fucking architect or a fucking scientist... Oh well. Hopefully I'll like Montes. I heard he's a good teacher. =]]

Aren't we glad they fucked?

If JK Rowling's parents never fucked...

I wouldn't have been on harrypotter.com that ONE day when they posted a topic asking who had MSN messenger. If I wasn't online that day... I would have never started talking to Jacob. If I had never started talking to Jacob... I probably wouldn't be online as much or had anyone to tell all my crazy stories to.

If JK Rowling's parents never fucked...

GarfieldPercussion.com would not exist. I started learning to make websites because everyone had Harry Potter websites, so I became interested in web/graphic design. I got a freewebs account, learned photoshop, and BAM I made a (very amaturure-ish, cheapy) Harry Potter website. If I didn't learn all this stuff Joe would have never found out I know about making websites and wouldn't have asked me to make the drumline website. Of course, Jacob helped me a lot with this web stuff, but hey... I wouldn't have never talked to him if JK Rowling's parents never fucked...

If JK Rowling's parents never fucked...

I wouldn't have been on hpfzforums.com in the year 2004 because there would be no HP. If there were no hpfz forums I would have never started talking to Jasmine. If I hadn't started talking to Jasmine, I would have never met Ivan because I met him through her. If I had never started chatting with them, I would have never known Ivan was in band and wouldn't have met him. If I never met Ivan, no one would have ever reffered to him as my "boyfriend from AB Miller." If i had never met Jasmine and Ivan, I wouldn't have met a whole bunch of other new people from AB Miller at ADLA competitions. If I had never started talking to Ivan, I probably wouldn't have made as much fun of Elizabeth Ortiz, or started PMing and IMing Ryan H. Turner, haha. If me and Ivan had never met, he wouldn't have sent Goober that air gram at the La Sierra show.

If JK Rowling's parents never fucked...

I would've never had my first boyfriend in middle school. rofl. I was with him for like a day and a half. Okay, I admit I never really liked the guy to begin with... oh well. But yeah. I thought it was worth writing anyway.
